A mobile-first mechanic service, backed by Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, RepairSmith allows customers to schedule on-site vehicle repairs delivered directly to their location. I led branding, strategic development, advertising, and interactive design to support this unique, customer-first innovation.

The Visual Foundation

I began by building a set of moodboards to define the visual personality of RepairSmith. These boards combined photography, typography, color palettes, and UI inspiration to align stakeholders on a shared vision that was modern, approachable, and professional. Each iteration captured the balance of trusted mechanic and on-demand convenience, guiding decisions across web design, advertising, and social creative. The moodboards served as a visual north star, ensuring every touchpoint from hero imagery to iconography felt cohesive and consistent with the brand.

Crafting the Brand Style Guide

A detailed brand style guide was created to keep every RepairSmith touchpoint consistent and on-brand. It defined logo usage, color palette, typography, iconography, imagery style and tone of voice. The guide became an essential tool for both internal teams and external partners, ensuring that all design and marketing materials reflected the same modern, approachable and professional identity.

UI/UX + Product Design

The digital experience was built to make booking a mechanic as seamless as possible. The interface prioritized clarity, from transparent service pricing to clear differentiation between mobile and shop appointments. User flows were streamlined to reduce friction, with mobile-first layouts that adapted seamlessly to tablets and desktops. Every design decision reinforced trust and ease of use, while maintaining visual consistency with the brand identity established in the moodboarding phase.

Email & Retention

I developed automated email templates that guided customers from booking to service completion. These templates were designed to be informative, easy to read, and visually aligned with the brand. Each touchpoint reinforced trust and reliability, from service confirmations to follow-up communications that encouraged repeat bookings.

Advertising & Marketing Creative

To build awareness and drive bookings, I created advertising assets that reflected the brand’s approachable professionalism. This included digital display ads, social media creative, and targeted campaign visuals designed for different customer segments. Each asset was developed with clear messaging and a strong visual hook to communicate the value of an on-site mechanic service. Campaigns were optimized to work across channels while staying consistent with the brand’s visual language.

Digital Marketing

Digital marketing campaigns were developed to reach customers across display, search, and social channels. Creative assets combined clear messaging with a consistent visual style, driving awareness and bookings while reinforcing the brand’s approachable and professional identity. Campaigns were optimized for performance across devices and platforms to maximize reach and engagement.

Social

Social content was designed to engage audiences and highlight the convenience of on-site mechanic services. Posts combined clean, on-brand visuals with concise, approachable copy tailored for each platform. Campaigns included a mix of educational tips, promotional offers and lifestyle imagery, building trust and encouraging followers to book services directly through social channels.

Impact

Through a cohesive approach to brand, UI design, and marketing, I helped position RepairSmith as a modern and reliable alternative to the traditional mechanic shop. The work created a consistent experience from first impression to completed service, supporting customer acquisition and retention.
